Wincanton Racecourse is located in the heart of the Somerset countryside with Bristol and Bournemouth less than 40 miles in either direction.
Wincanton Racecourse stages an excellent programme of quality Jump race meetings from October to May and has an average of two meetings per month during this period. The Saturday meetings provide some of the best racing of the National Hunt season featuring some of the top horses in the country and please note that Sunday and Bank Holiday fixtures are family days.
The course is renowned for its friendly atmosphere as well as its superb facilities and has been voted 'Best Small Racecourse in the South West' for 12 successive years by the Racegoers’ Club
Feature meetings include Countryside Day in April, it includes terrier racing and ferret racing, and Ladies’ Day at the end of the month, so if you don't back a winner on the horses why not try the ferrets!

The Kingwell Restaurant
The Kingwell Restaurant offers an excellent hospitality location being situated between the racecourse and parade ring. This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and can accommodate parties of between 2 and 20 people on all racedays.
