Lying a few hundred yards from Warwick Castle, Warwick Racecourse is steeped in historic charm and character. The first stand at Warwick was built in 1808 with racing taking place long before that time.
Warwick Racecourse hosts Flat and National Hunt, with a full racing calendar all year round with meetings taking place on weekdays and weekends, afternoons and evenings. The most valuable race at Warwick is The Classic Chase run on the second Saturday in January each year. The other main jumps feature is the Kingmaker Novices Chase Day that takes place in February and provides excellent clues for the forthcoming Cheltenham and Aintree festivals..
