Welcome to Towcester Racecourse 2008
Towcester Racecourse hosts eighteen National Hunt meetings which run from October to June. With a recent investment of over £7.5 million into the racecourse and its facilities and set in beautiful parklands, Towcester Racecourse is one of the most picturesque racing venues in the country.
As well as a wonderful setting and excellent hospitality facilities, the Racecourse also has an interesting history. In 1876 Elizabeth, The Empress of Austria, rented Easton Neston to enjoy the hunting offered by several neighbouring packs of foxhounds. The idea of holding a race meeting in the park at Easton Neston came from the Empress and Easter Monday 1876 was the date chosen.
The Racecourse is easily accessible and centrally located in the heart of England, Towcester is close to Milton Keynes (10 miles) and Northampton (11 miles) and is easily accessible from Junction 15a of the M1 and Junction 10 of the M40.
The Hospitality
Private Boxes
The Empress and Grace Stands are fully equipped with private balconies. They both offer glass fronted viewing of the course overlooking the home straight and are set against the spectacular backdrop of the rolling Northamptonshire countryside.
The Grace Stand Boxes accommodate a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 80 guests.
The Empress Stand is ideal groups of between 20 and 50 guests.

Marquees
The Paddock Pavilion Marquee is located in the heart of the racecourse between the stable yard and the parade ring. Great vantage point and in the middle of the action.
Private marquees are available for minimum numbers of 40 guests.

Restaurants
Empress Suite Restaurant
The Empress Suite Restaurant is situated on the middle floor of Towcester Racecourse’s new Empress Stand and is fully equipped with its own private balcony. The hospitality venue offers glass fronted viewing of the course, which overlooks the home straight and is set against the spectacular Northamptonshire countryside.
