The NatWest Rowley Mile
is host to some of
the best racing in the
world. At the forefront
are two classics - The Stan James 1000 and
2000 Guineas which
both feature in early May.
The legendary Emirates Airline
Champion Stakes,
Darley Dewhurst Stakes
and totesport Cesarewitch,
all run on one fantastic
day in mid-October
- “Champions
Day”. The other autumn
highlight is undoubtedly
the Cambridgeshire
Meeting, featuring
the Sky Bet Cheveley
Park and Shadwell
Middle Park Stakes
and the superlative
totesport Cambridgeshire
Handicap itself -
a cavalry charge of over 30 horses in a fiercely competitive
handicap up the famous NatWest
Rowley Mile track.
In
all, there are 19
days of racing staged
at the NatWest Rowley
Mile during the spring and autumn
months and all offer
quality racing viewed
from the splendour of
the impressive Millennium
Grandstand or right at the heart
of the action in
our trackside marquees.
