Towcester
Towcester Racecourse hosts eighteen National Hunt meetings which run from October to May. With a recent investment of over £7.5 million into the racecourse and its facilities and set in beautiful parklands,Towcester Racecourse is one of the most picturesque racing venues inthe country.
As well as a wonderful setting and excellent hospitality facilities, the Racecourse also has an interesting history. In 1876 Elizabeth, The Empress of Austria, rented Easton Neston to enjoy the hunting offered by several neighbouring packs of foxhounds. The idea of holding a race meeting in the park at Easton Neston came from the Empress and Easter Monday 1876 was the date chosen.
The Racecourse is easily accessible and centrally located in the heart of England, Towcester is close to Milton Keynes (10 miles) and Northampton (11 miles) and is easily accessible from Junction 15a of the M1 and Junction 10 of the M40.
