Thirsk

Thirsk is one of Yorkshire's most beautiful country courses, sitting between the North Yorkshire Moors. In 2005, Thirsk Racecourse proudly celebrated 150 years of racing on the course at Station Road in Thirsk.

This has been continuous apart from periods around the two World Wars. Thirsk is - more then ever - a good choice for a day out at the races, with high quality racing, good facilities and attractive surroundings.

Thirsk is easily reached from all directions on good roads and is easily accessible from most parts of the North of England, making it a comfortable journey and a sensible venue for corporate hospitality guests arriving from widespread locations.

General Meetings

Private Boxes

Six well appointed boxes overlooking the winning post, they are positioned on the upper tier of the main grandstand and are available for groups of 10 or more. From the main Grandstand there are good views of the track and it is possible to access the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure.

The Manton Suite

A beautiful new facility with a lawned garden area giving easy access to the track and all facilities in the Club Enclosure including the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure. The first floor of the Manton Suite will hold up to 120 guests with a minimum requirement of 60.

Marquees

Marquee sites are available opposite the winning post (with private view of the course) and adjacent to the Parade Ring and Winner's Enclosure. Marquees can be arranged for parties of 20 upwards, with Tote, CCTV, bar and catering facilities to meet individual requirements.

Dine & Race

Utilising the upper floor of The Pavilion in the Manton Suite with balcony overlooking the lawns, the Dine & Race Package at Thirsk offers patrons a base for the day with Buffet lunch, private cash bar facility and tote betting service with the racetrack just a short stroll across the lawned paddock area and large screen T.V. facing the balcony.
