Plumpton

First founded as a venue in 1876 by Thomas Henry Case as the first enclosed Hare Coursing meet, horse racing did not commence at this location until 1884. 2009 saw Plumpton Racecourse celebrate its 125th anniversary and were awarded the Pitchcare Neil Wyatt Racecourse Groundstaff award for the best jumps track plus AP McCoy achieve his 3,000th career win.

With racing taking place from September through to May Plumpton is recognised as one of the UK's leading small steeplechase courses.
