Huntingdon
Huntingdon Racecourse is situated just outside the village of Brampton in Cambridgeshire. The area’s flat terrain is ideal for the right-handed, oval-shaped Racecourse, which tends to favour faster horses and makes for an exciting day at the races.
Priding itself on being a friendly and intimate venue for newcomers to horseracing as well as offering great racing action for the seasoned pro, Huntingdon Racecourse was voted Best Small Racecourse of the Year 2008 for the South Midlands and East Anglia region by The Racegoers Club.
Over nine months of the year there are 17 jump race meetings, Arab race meetings and some fun family events, providing plenty of opportunities to catch the action.
The first week in October sees the hilarious and increasingly popular Mascot Grand National Day, while the Peterborough Chase Day, the Racecourse’s flagship race of the year, makes a welcome return in December.
