Ffos Las

Opened in 2009 Ffos Las Racecourse is the first turf Racecourse to open in Britain for more than 80 years and Wales’ third racecourse overall.

Situated in the verdant county of Carmarthenshire, known as The Garden of Wales, between the towns of Llanelli and Carmarthen, the Racecourse boasts stunning views of rolling countryside down the Gwendraeth Valley to Carmarthen Bay.

Twelve furlongs long, Ffos Las Racecourse has been deliberately levelled resulting in an excellent track to race on as well as offering great viewing for the spectators. In 2011 Ffos Las is staging twenty nine fixtures, both flat and jump.
