1661 saw the first recorded race meeting to be held on the Downs and the tradition continued until the summer of 1779 when one of today's greatest sporting spectacles was established.
Situated in the heart of Epsom Downs, the racecourse is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and has amazing views. With easy access from London and only half an hour from Gatwick, Epsom boasts a stunning, peaceful, hilltop location.

Ladies Day is on Friday 4th June 2010. A wonderfully stylish day out, Epsom's Ladies Day is the place to dress up in your best to see the finest fillies competing in the feature race - The Oaks. It is the day when Ladies take centre stage, both on and off the course, and in our 'Style on the Downs' competition the most stylish racegoer will win a fabulous prize!
Saturday 5th June is Derby Day and one of the most famous sporting occasions in the world. The Derby remains the race that everyone wants to win, as horses and riders are pushed to their limit around the unique and challenging course. Derby Day is a great day out and always has a very special atmosphere.

Queen's Stand Jockey Club Room
Located on the second floor of the Queen's Stand, the Jockey Club Room has private balconies overlooking the Winner's circle, finishing line and Parade Ring. With stunning views across The Downs and the City of London, you will have the opportunity to view the runners both pre and post race, without leaving the comfort of your private suite.

Queen's Stand Blue Riband Room

The Blue Riband Room is located on the first floor of the Queen's Stand, it has a private balcony overlooking the parade ring and a shared public balcony gives views of the track and Winner's Circle. The Blue Riband is at the very heart of the Queen's Stand and is a highly prized location.

Downs View Suite
Located on the second floor of Epsom's new Grandstand - the Duchess's Stand, the Downs View Suite, as its name suggests, has the most stunning views across the Downs, the unique Epsom track and finishing straight.

Gallops Suite
Located on the first floor of Epsom's new Grandstand - the Duchess's Stand, the Gallop Suite benefits from a privileged corner spot, so guests have a great view of the horses charging up the finishing straight to the winning post.

The Winning Post

The relaxed atmosphere in this popular venue is perfect for a great day out close to the action, private tables for 10 guests, smaller numbers accommodated on shared tables. Situated just past the winning post on the inside rail, this easily accessible facility offers an enjoyable way to entertain clients and watch some great racing. Your package also allows you entry to the Grandstand, where the stepped terraces offer some of the most stunning views of the racing and over The Downs.

Tattenham Straight Hospitality

This marquee is positioned to the left of the main Grandstand in the famous Tattenham Straight - a pivotal point on the course as the runners approach the final furlong of the race. Enjoy superb hospitality and experience the action at close quarters, as the horses thunder down the Hill to the winning post. Private tables are available for a minimum of 10 guests or smaller numbers can be accommodated on shared tables.

Epsom Live! Music Nights
Private Boxes

Epsom Live! Music Nights combine an evening of spectacular racing action and top music. The private Boxes give you the opportunity to watch the evening's racing action from your own private balcony and then enjoy the live entertainment. All the boxes have access to tote betting facilities and have LCD T.V. to view racing replays and concert close ups!
