The July Course

June-August

The July Course resides alongside the National Stud on the approach to the town and is home to all Newmarket’s summer race meetings.

From June to the end of August, the course provides the perfect setting for a fantastic day’s racing thanks to its unique rustic charm. Open air bars, the sun dappling through the trees and the thatched roofed buildings make up the character of this distinctive and much loved course. Less than two years ago, sparkling new facilities were introduced behind the stands following the £10m enlargement and redevelopment of this area.

Newmarket's summer racing highlight is the July Festival which in 2012 is scheduled for Thursday 12th - Saturday 14th July involving three days of world class racing and fabulous fashion in the magical garden party atmosphere of the July Course.

The rest of the spectacular summer season includes nine Friday-Saturday fixtures. With seven of the Friday evening meetings making up the world famous "Newmarket Nights", Britain's most successful concert race nights.

Aphrodite Enclosure Private Marquees

Located beside the finishing straight leading up to the Winning Post the Aphrodite Enclosure is a private hospitality area right at the heart of the racing action as well as an unrivalled view of the Newmarket Nights Concerts.

Each private marquee, minimum 24 guests, has it's own private area of decking offering excellent viewing and internally they are finished to an exceptionally high standard.

Aphrodite Enclosure Restaurant Marquee

Groups of less than 24 guests can be entertained in a shared marquee in the Aphrodite Enclosure with parties of 8 or more guests accommodated on a private table, smaller parties may be required to share.

The Summer House Restaurant

The Summer House is the stylish restaurant within the main grandstand at the heart of the Premier Enclosure for parties of between 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 up to a maximum of 12 guests at a single table. It has a stunning air conditioned conservatory extension and is located a short walk from the viewing stands and Winner’s Enclosure.
